After the flag ceremony, Senator Collins met with sixth grade students in the school's Myra Amstutz Library, where she talked about how she became a senator, her recent trip to Antarctica, and answered questions from students. She presented a book and pictures of her Antarctica trip to the library. A film crew from CNN recorded the morning activities, hopefully to be shown later on the Lew Dobbs show.
