Mrs. Kurr's Trip to Japan
Mrs. Shawna Kurr, Assistant Principal, has been chosen as one of 200 educators in the United States to visit Japan in November, 2006 through the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program which is designed to promote greater intercultural understanding between the Japan and the United States. Mrs. Kurr will visit schools, cultural sites and industries and will spend part of her visit staying with a host Japanese family. Upon her return, Mrs. Kurr will begin planning for Japanese Week, an outreach project for the Warren School community, to be held March 26-30, 2007.
