Day Seventeen

November 28, 2006

Today we had a group presentation all day long. We were excited to see what everyone had done in their cities, however we weren't excited about sitting in a conference room all day. When we first arrived, a girl who was sitting in front of us said that she had received tickets to see U2 live in concert in Tokyo that night. Through a lot of running around, stressing and interpretation...WE GOT TICKETS TO SEE U2 LIVE IN TOKYO!!!!! We had a difficult time keeping the smiles off our faces--our last night in Tokyo went out with a bang! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the BEST concert I have ever seen. The Saitama Super Arena is a brand new facility with many restaurants, a gym and a shopping plaza. It seats 37,000 people. There were 30,000 people at the concert. There are, roughly, 13,664 people in the five towns of MSAD40. We could not even fill half of the seats at this concert if everyone in every town attended!

"What a beautiful day!" ;)

Paul and I when we got the tickets! We were SO excited...U2 in Tokyo!

The entire concert was about LOVE, PEACE AND COEXISTENCE--it was a wonderful message.
