Day Nine

We visited a local elementary school. The school was amazing! It had a very open concept. I would say, the weirdest thing was during breaks students were on their own to run around the school and play--there were NO teachersw around! It felt very bizarre to me! Disciplien and safety were not of concern...I learned more about this during the high school visit...
When I saw these cute backpacks I knew that I had to have one. All of the
students have them, so of course I had to get one!
Japanese schools have fish tanks--like we do...
The raise their hands--like we do...
The study about the world--like we do...
They play recorders--like we do...
Unicycles--I saw students using them during recess time.
