Day Five

A group of us awoke at 3:30 a.m. to go to the Tsukiji Fish Market located 20 minutes from our hotel. What an adventure! This is Claire and me in the cab on the way to the fish market. I think this is the first time I have ever been in a cab.

   
This was the tuna auction. It was amazing to see all of the tuna AND all of the people buying them. It was crazy and fast!

    
These tuna were purchased at the auction. The gentleman informed me that they are from Boston, USA! Small world!
