Day Eight

We were up early and packed for our day of travel to the town of Matsue (in Shimane prefecture state. It took us 1.5 hours by plane (9 hours by train).
Claire and I are saying good-bye for a whole week! We are going to miss
each other! Thanks goodness for email.

There have been many Merry Christmas signs and Christmas music EVERYWHERE
since we've arrived and it's not even Thanksgiving!!
Even a Christmas duck was in the shopping plaza SATY.
A beautiful kimono...I guess I won't be buying this one. It's about $4,500.
